I just wanted to share 2 last Christmas cards of 2011 with you.  With this posting,  I have learned how to direct you to a bigger picture of the images I place for you to view.  Just click on the picture and you should be taken to Flickr where you can see a bigger image.

Let me know what you think.

Here's an accordion card with the 12 days of Christmas. I made this for my nieces.

Here are the close-ups of the 12 days ...

This card was made for my "Other Mother".   I think it turned out very well, if I do say so myself.

I don't plan on posting another blog until after Christmas.  So I wish everyone a Merry Christmas.  May God's blessings be showered upon you.

Until next time, I am ever searching for inspiration.

I made some Art Impressions cards ...

to put on their FB page.   I had a few mistakes, but I decided I shouldn't be so obsessive at this time of year.  What do you think?  Are they OK?  Not?  Have any hints, tips, comments for them?

Here they are ...

Until next time, I am ever searching for inspiration.

Blog links have been added ...

Hello friends!

I just added my Crafter's Companion Design Team members' blog links to my page.  They are a group of very talented artists.  Be sure to check them out.  They are great sources of inspiration.

I haven't done much paper crafting as of late.  I've been working on crocheted scarves for my nieces for Christmas.  What do you think?  Too fuzzy? Maybe too fuzzy for someone my age, but I think the girls will go wild for them.  I'll try to keep you updated more often as I start doing more and more projects.

Until next time, I am ever searching for inspiration.

My first post and a little about me ...

Oh boy ... my first post.  I hope I get the hang of this before too long.  Please bear with me.

A little background about myself ... I was born on Mother's Day in 1960.  For most of my life, I have claimed Frankfort, Kentucky as home.  I married my husband, David, in 1983.  Our family has grown over the last few years.  We were adopted by tuxedo cats Laverne and her sister Shirley in 2007.  Then in 2010, we were adopted again.  This time by Lenny (an orange tabby) and his sister Squiggy (a Tortoiseshell).  In the spring of 2011, we brought a family member's cat to our home.  His name is Bob and he is a gray and white tabby.  All my children have paws.

I worked in state government from 1979 until retiring in August 2006.  I have been crafting in one media or another for most of my life. I have been stamping since sometime in the early 90's. My main interest at this time is paper crafting.

I am now a designer for Crafter's Companion and previously for Sunday International.  I hope you will enjoy the projects that I will share here with you beginning in January 2012.

I suppose I am no longer a virgin blogger now.  I am so glad that's over with.  (She said with a great sigh of relief.)  I will now add blogging to my list of accomplishments.

Until next time, I am ever searching for inspiration.
