Oh, How nice!!

Wouldn't it be nice to receive an invitation to a wine and cheese tasting party?

Recently, some of my friends have discovered wine.  They've been sampling the nearby vineyards and even taking vacations based on interesting vineyards in other states.  They've learned so much. And in turn, I've learned just a little bit.  Ha ha!!

I used A Creative Need's "Wine and Cheese for Two" digital stamp.  I used Word 2010, and placed the image into the document with text above it. After printing, I cut it down to 3.75" x 5".

I colored the image with Tombow Irojiten Colored Pencils and Prismacolor Colored Pencils.  I used a silver gel pen on the knife blade.

When the coloring was completed, I used Ranger Glossy Accents to cover the glasses and bottle.  I first covered the glass furthest toward the back and let it dry and bit before covering the front glass.  I set this aside to completely dry.

I rounded the corners of the image piece.  I mounted this onto a slightly larger piece of purple pearlescent card stock with rounded corners.

These pieces were mounted onto a 8.5" x 5.5" piece of green card stock folded to have a side fold.

I think this would be a cute invitation ... what do you think?

If you like this image, stop by A Creative Need and look around.

Until next time, I am ever searching for inspiration.
